The Class of 1982 held their 25th Year Reunion on Friday August 10, 2007 at The Nahant Country Club in Nahant, MA. There were over 135 people in attendance (including guests) with all the "usual suspects" in attendance, plus some folks who were attending their first reunion...which is a good sign!

Based on the tremendous feedback we've received, we'd have to say the evening was a complete success! This was our first summer event, and probably won’t be our last. The stories being shared, the endless smiles and laughter, the ease with which people reconnected…it seemed as though we hadn’t been apart at all! We think that speaks to the friendly nature of our class and the strong bonds we made growing up.

And yet, the night flew by so quickly, as it so often does. Not enough time to catch-up with everyone who was there and the perfect reason to not let another five years go by without re-connecting with old friends, as well as making a commitment to find and invite those who were not there to the next event - be it an informal gathering for some occasion or the next official reunion in 2012.

Many, many thanks to everyone who contributed to making the reunion a huge success, and particularly: to the Reunion Committee for their efforts organizing the event and remaining so dedicated to ensuring our class remains connected...to Doreen Hallisey/McKean & Denise Bazylinski/Pesaturo for their efforts in finding a beautiful setting for this event...to Geoff Auld for providing us with our banners…to those of you who helped us locate classmates and keep our database updated…and to many more of you who offered suggestions for this and future reunions.

Congratulations to Jane Walsh for winning our 50/50 raffle, and thanks to all of you who purchased tickets to support the class.

In closing, remember classmates, we're only an e-mail or phone call away from each other with the access provided by this website. Our classmate "network" stretches from coast to coast, and there's no reason we can't stay in touch with each other through the years and encourage other classmates to participate in future reunions. Please contact and encourage the others you may still be in touch with to let us know where they are, and keep the Committee updated on your current address and information.

Until our 30th...”Reconnect and Stay in Touch” - see you in 2012!
